Wolfenstein 3D 20th anniversary

Hi. So the Bethesda blog has a free to play browser version of the game to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the game Wolfenstein 3D. They have also put up on xbox live market a Wolfenstein t-shirt and classic B.J. blaskowicz mask you can buy for your avatar. They are telling people to stop by their Bethesda Bolg to share your stories of your experience with the Wolfenstein 3D game. You can go and play Wolfenstein 3D game at here. Did you know that this game is the core game that started all the first person shooters. Doom actually cloned the idea for that style of shooter game. I personally liked the doom series better, but that’s just me. You can check out the developers that made doom at idsoftware. This is the same company that made games like Rage.

Here is some gameplay video of the Wolfenstein 3D:

Cloud Storage Comparison

(Pic via How to Geek)
Hello. I saw a great article on cloud storage comparison, from how to geek. They give a pretty good idea on the different cloud storage services out there. I personally use Dropbox and Box. I found that Dropbox is the easiest to use acrossed all platforms (smartphone, laptop, desktop).

Self Driving Car. Insurance How Much?

Hi. So a Self Driving Car. Google is meeting with car insurance companies to see how much they are going to charge people for having a self driving car. If the insurance companies are going to charge one rate or have a rate for when you drive the car yourself and another rate for when you let the car drive itself. Google is also doing this to speed up the process of getting these self driving cars legalized for the street. Check out this video on the car driving itself crazy! I really didn’t think I would see the day when this would be a reality, like in the movie demolition man.

Diablo 3 Beta Weekend a Huge Success!!!

Quick update: Diablo 3 open beta,

Yeah! I really liked the Diablo 3 Beta, it was really awesome and I had a great time! I went through the game with the barbarian first. It took me about 4 hours to reach the skeleton king and beat him. Then I went through a second time with the Monk till I beat the skeleton King. I can’t wait for the full game to release next month. The graphics are really nice and the frame rate is good as well. I also like the fact that you don’t have to read all the dialog, the game has great voice over. The combat is great, and the inventory of stuff that you get for each character is tons.

Diablo 3 release date: 5/15/2012

How to use Wireshark

Hi. I found a great article on how to use wireshark to capture, filter and inspect packets. It was written up by How to Geek. It gives you a great step by step way on how to get the program, an also how to use it. This would be a great tool to use to see if you have any virus like programs sending and receiving network traffic in the background that you don’t know about.

Got to give props to How to Geek for this! Awesome!

Ninja Blocks New Cool Device!

Hello. I just read about this new device called Ninja Blocks. What the device does is connects everything to you. So what this means is you can set this device up to do just about anything: It can text your cell phone when a package arrives at your front door from like UPS or FedEx. You can set it to turn on a lamp in your living room to let you know when your friend or family member starts playing a specific game on xbox 360 or PS3. You could have it take a picture of your back yard if it detects movement. You can even talk to your Ninja Block via Siri (IPhone) and tell it to do something like turn on you lights or open your garage door. It also sinks with twitter, facebook, and dropbox. You can buy the device by it self for $160 or get the bundle deal, block plus sensors for $264. The way it work is by connecting to the Internet and to the Ninja Cloud that runs everything, and this is also how you set your new Ninja Block up.
You can read more info on this from Cnet here.
To buy your very own go to their website link: Ninja Blocks
Here is a video to show you a little bit about what the Ninja Block can do.
